The 2007 Magic City Campus Themed Career Fair focused on career opportunities within all of the 16 Career Clusters. This was a volunteer activity for seniors that took place between 8:45 AM and 10:30 AM while the juniors took the state test on October 25th, 26th, 30th, and 31st, 2007. Each day of the career fair, seniors had a choice between three activities listed on their program. Students who participated all four days earned a coupon to exempt them from taking one final exam at the end of the second semester. As proof of attendance, students received a card at the door for each activity. Students printed their name on the card and had it stamped and collected at the door at the end of each session. Through this session, students learned about career opportunities working in civil service jobs for city or state government and how to apply, opportunities in the military, and the advantages of taking the ASVAB test while in high school. Recruiters from each branch of the military shared information about their mission as well as benefits to joining their branch.
