Don't Tell Your Pupils Too Much
Don't tell your pupils too much. Give them a
chance to find out something for themselves. Let the mind have a
chance to develop by doing such work. The muscles that are never
exercised become inert. The mind that never has an opportunity to
work will never grow. There is no doubt that many teachers explain
too much. There is a difference between giving the child a helping
hand over a hard place and picking him up bodily and carrying him over.
