I’d forgotten what it was to be a writer until the irrepressible urge to type hit me. You see, dear reader, anyone who knows me well enough would be able to tell that something is different - maybe even wrong. I haven’t been caring, or creating. I’ve been dragging and pulling myself through a world that just doesn’t seem as bright. My grades have gone downhill and I really just don’t give a damn.
And I think it has to do with my pillow.
It’s already February 9th, 2009 9:31 am. I’m stitting in my Computer Repair class bored as anything, wondering one particular thing: Where did the time go?
Three months from now it will be May, and school will almost be over. I will have recently returned from Florida - restless and itching to leave again. Four months from now I will be 17 and in London - feeling older than I really am.
Four months ago it was the beginning of October and I was trying to figure out if I was going Trick-Or-Treating for Unicef. Three months ago had just turned into November. I had gone Trick-Or-Treating and had had a wonderful time.
Since when have the moments grown shorter? Where did my Freshman year go - when I joined Magic Pens and sang my lungs out for a choir that I loved? When Rebecca was still singing next to me, and I only barely knew Caitlin’s name? And then Sophomore year where drama entered the lions den and everything became a mix of who’s dating and who’s hating rather than who’s creating.
Time does fly.

Notes:She’s the oldest out of the siblings. Joseph and Maddison (both born to Jackie Farnsworth) live with their parents in Utah. Christopher lives with Melisa and Desirae in Minot. Relationships with all family members seems to be strained. Desirae hasn’t seen the Bell/Farnsworth family in over five years.
